It takes a dedicated team to bring a production to life. From working backstage and assisting in the box office to managing costumes or ushering guests, our volunteers make it all possible. If you’re interested in joining our volunteer crew, we’d love to hear from you. Interested in performing on stage? As a community theater, most roles in our productions are cast through open auditions help periodically throughout the year. The Emmett Hook Center is located in downtown Shreveport, at the corner of Common Street and Milam Street, directly adjacent to First Methodist Church.
Directions
- From I-20 West: Take the Common Street exit and head north. The theater is about four blocks ahead on the left.
- From I-20 East: Take the Common Street/Line Avenue exit, then turn north on Common Street. The theater is approximately four blocks ahead on the left.
