Support

The performing arts have the power to uplift, inspire, and unite a community—but they can’t thrive without your support.

At the Emmett Hook Center, we rely on the generosity of individuals, families, and organizations who believe in the value of the arts and the unique role our theater plays in downtown Shreveport. Your gift helps make it possible for us to produce high-quality theater, host inspiring concerts, and provide meaningful creative opportunities for all ages.

Whether you give a little or a lot, every gift makes a difference—and every supporter becomes part of our story.

Theatre Supporters

When you give to the Emmett Hook Center, you’re doing more than supporting the arts—you’re helping to create powerful, professional-quality productions that bring our community together and share meaningful stories on stage.

Your donations help cover critical production costs, including:

  • Hiring live musicians for our musicals—we’re proud to be one of the few theaters in our region that continues to use a live orchestra in the pit.
  • Paying our creative team, including our directors, music directors, choreographers, and our skilled sound and lighting technicians.
  • Costume rentals, props, and set materials that bring each story to life on stage.
  • Marketing and advertising, helping us reach wider audiences and keep our ticket prices affordable for families and guests.

NOTE: Be sure to designate your donation to the “Emmett Hook Theatre Discretionary Fund”.
